The .22 BRX is Bergara’s first endeavor into the realm of rimfire rifles. The inspiration behind Bergara’s decision to build a semi-automatic rimfire rifle was simple – it was designed to “…fill the void between featureless mass-produced models and overly priced boutique offerings.” Bergara builds the BXR with the hardcore rimfire shooter in mind, like a 30 MOA optics rail or the butt hook for additional control. The rifle features a 16.5” barrel threaded and capped for the easy attachment of a suppressor and is made from 4140 CrMo steel that is fluted for weight reduction as well as expedited barrel cooling. The Bergara BRX ships with one 10/22 compatible rotary-style 10 round magazine.
