Mossberg has improved their Maverick 88 Security 20″ 12 gauge shotgun by lengthening the barrel and increasing the magazine size, making this an excellent home defense weapon. The 3” chamber accommodates both 2-3/4” and 3” factory loads, and this version comes with a durable flat dark earth polymer stock that’s equipped with a rubber buttpad to take some sting out of the recoil. It features a positive steel-to-steel lock-up and anti-jam elevator for smooth, reliable operation, and the bead sights are easy to see in most lighting conditions.
