The Mossberg 500 Flex is a Modular System of shotguns based on the legendary model 500 with the LTS (Tool-Less Locking System). This system consists of three convenient connecting technologies, that come together to bring another level of flexibility to your Tactical shooting endeavors.
One locking pen is for the stock, one for the forend, and one for the recoil pad. The Tactical series is set up for any of your shotgun’s Personal Protection needs but easily allows you to change the stock, forend, or recoil pad for a specific need. All Tactical Series features black, OD Green, or tan finish on the barrel and receiver.
The stocks and forends are black and are available in pistol grip, adjustable, or fixed. All the forends are tactical tri-rail. Different models are available with a stand-off barrel and white dot sights, bead sights, or XS Ghost Ring AR style.

All FLEX?TLS components mount and remove from the gun in seconds—without tools.

The FLEX tactical shotgun features an 20″ cylinder bore barrel with a bead sight, and an 6-position, adjustable stock with a full pistol grip, and tri-rail tactical forend. An anti-reflective finish on the barrel, receiver, and magazine tube resists corrosion. The U.S. Military’s choice of Model 500 and 590 pump shotguns for combat attests to the design’s reliable function and durability. The Model 500 pump-action shotgun uses dual action bars, dual extractors, an anti-jam shell elevator, and a large locking lug for a solid steel-to-steel, bolt-to-barrel connection. Sling swivel studs are standard. Shooters can reach the top-mounted safety quickly with the thumb of either hand, making it naturally ambidextrous.

The Mossberg FLEX TLS (Tool-less Locking System) is a series of three patent-pending connectors that allow shooters a simple method of switching stocks, forends, and recoil pads for a variety of shooting applications. FLEX base model shotguns, when used with interchangeable FLEX Stock, Forend and Recoil Pad Accessories can create virtually limitless combinations of fit, style or application.
